The Southern Columbia Area High School Student Council is holding a "Covers for Kids Drive" to benefit the patients of the Janet Weis Children's Hospital. The drive will collect blankets and pillows. All donations must be new and in their original packaging. If homemade, they should be made using new material.  To better protect the young patients, you are asked to tie your donation in a plastic bag and keep it away from from dust and pets. Donations can be dropped off at Miss Jen Stine's classroom or in the High School Office or Mrs. Shelley Hower's classroom in the Elementary Building. The drive will continue through Wednesday, December 17th with the donated blankets and pillows being delivered on December 19th. SCA's Student Council is hopeful you can support their cause and help brighten the holiday for the Children's Hospital patients and their families!
