During the past few weeks, cameras secured through PDE's Safe Schools Grant were installed by NRG Controls North, Inc. and members of Southern Columbia Area's maintenance staff. SCA Building and Grounds Supervisor Tim George and his staff installed all cabling needed for the project, while NRG technicians installed, aligned, configured and commissioned the new cameras. We extend many thanks Mr. George, his staff, and NRG Controls North, Inc. for their fine work. We also thank NRG for equipment and technical support they donated to this project.
Pictured to the left is a camera system training session attended by the District's Administrative, Technology and Security staff, and members of the Ralpho Township and Locust Township Police departments. The new system will provide the local police departments with real-time video of activity within the elementary, high school and middle school buildings allowing them to quickly plan appropriate responses to any emergency situation occuring within the schools.
