Congratulations are extended to Southern Columbia Area's Wrestling Team who put in a fine showing at the District 4 Wrestling Tournament, finishing in second place as a team and sending five members of its squad on to the PIAA Northeast Regional Class AA Tournament, which is the final step to be taken in order to advance to the State Championships. The Regional Tournament will be held Friday, March 3rd and Saturday, March 4th.
 
Ending the tournament as District 4 AA Champions were Jaret Lane (113 pounds), Todd Lane (145), and Gaige Garcia (170). Also advancing for the Tigers were Cade Linn (152) and Cal Haladay (160). The top four wrestlers in each bracket at the Northeast Regionals will earn a trip to Hershey for the state competition set for Thursday, March 9 through Saturday, March 11. Congrats Jaret, Todd, Gaige, Cade and Cal! Keep on working hard!
