Children, ages three or four are invited to “Come To School” at the Southern Columbia Area School District's G.C. Hartman Elementary Center, on Wednesday, October 29, 2014.  There will be a free developmental screening.  Children will participate in activities that will test their hearing, speech, vision, gross and fine motor skills, personal and social skills, adaptive behavior,cognitive skills, and height and weight.  Children will also have an opportunity to do art work, have a snack, socialize with other children, and take home a rememberance of their “First Day” at school.  The screening will take approximately one hour and can be scheduled between 9 a.m. and 1:45 p.m.  For an appointment, please call Southern Columbia Area School District at (570) 356-3503 or (570) 356-2331 (extension 3503).
