The Empty Bowls celebration originally scheduled for April 26th has been moved to Sunday, June 1st in order to avoid conflicts with several other school and community activities also scheduled that day. The event will now become an ice cream social. The Empy Bowls is a joint community service project and fundraiser of the Senior Class and the Art Club. The project is designed to raise awareness of the fact that hunger is a problem in our region. It will also raise funds which will be donated to Manna for the Many, a food bank in Shamokin that regularly serves over 700 local families..
