This past weekend Cynthia Adams, a 2011 graduate and member of the track team who went on to Lebanon Valley College to pursue a doctoral degree in Physical Therapy, won the NCAA Division III National Championship in the indoor 800 meter run, winning by nearly 2 seconds in a time of 2 minutes 8.81 seconds.  The national meet was held at the JDL Fast Track in North Carolina.  It was the fifth fastest time in NCAA Division III history and capped a career that included 3 All-American honors, 12 MAC championships; 8 of those in the 800 meter run.

Cynthia’s individual national title was the first in any sport at Lebanon Valley College.  She also broke her own school record by nearly 3 seconds.  Congratulations to Cynthia on her national title!
