Four Southern Columbia Area High School musicians "placed" at the 2015 Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 8 Band Festival held at Troy Area High School this past weekend and will be among a select group of musicians invited to participate in the 2015 Region IV Band Festival. Congratulations are extended to Music teacher Mr. Joel Thomas and the following students for their  award-winning performance!: Olivia Bodner, 1st place-Flute; Adam Mommo, 3rd place-Clarinet; Tony Rodriguez, 2nd place-Oboe; and Seth Barrett, 1st place- Bassoon.
 
The Region IV Band Festival will be held at Williamsport High School on Thursday February 12th through Saturday, February 14th.
