Southern Columbia Area High School's Class of 2016 has decided to forgo a class trip and instead will donate money they have raised through the years to their soon-to-be alma matter. The Senior Class recently voted to donate $2,500 to the High School which will be used to purchase three large screen digital displays to be placed in the Charles T. Nesbitt Gymnasium lobby, the Old Gym lobby and the High School Cafeteria. The displays in the lobbies will showcase students who have been crowned a state champion or who have received First Place All-State Honors in athletics, band, chorus and similar activities. The display in the cafeteria will feature school news and events. Thank you students for this very generous gift!
