We are pleased to announce that the District's Special Education Plan Report (07/01/2014-06/30/2017) is now complete and available for public review. The report is available for review by visiting the Southern Columbia Area School District Administrative Office or by clicking on this link. The public review period will extend for twenty-eight (28) days, ending April 16, 2014.  The plan will be presented to the School Board of Directors for approval and submission to the Pennsylvania Department of Education following public review.  Input and/or comments can be directed to Jennifer Snyder, Director of Special Education at jsnyder@scasd.us or (570) 356-3510.

The Special Education Plan Report is an action plan that describes the School District's commitment to ensure that all students with a disability eligible for special education, are provided a quality education. The content of the special education plan describes the special education program and services that are provided within Southern Columbia and those special education programs and services which are accessed by the School District from outside the District’s geographical boundaries.
