Southern Columbia Area High School recently held its Annual Awards Program to recognize outstanding student achievement in a number of fields, including academics, civic engagement, and athletics. Over 80 awards were presented to the deserving students, with most reserved for members of the Class of 2017. The awards  were sponsored by a number of organizations, including area businesses, public and community service organizations, and school-related organizations. There were also numerous memorial scholarships that were sponsored by individual community members. We thank the generous sponsors of these awards as well as their representatives who participated in this year's ceremony. We also extend hearty congratulations to all award recipients for a job well done!
