Congratulations are extended to sophomores Aiyona Hayman, Francesca Schu, and Amara Nazario for their first place finish in the Digital Movie category at the Regional Computer Fair hosted by the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit. They will now move on to the state competition at Dickenson College. Students are able to enter projects in six categories: Animation, Computer Fair Logo, Digital Movie, Graphic Design, Programming and Web Page Design. A first-, second- and third-place winner is selected in each category with each first-place finisher moving on to state competition in May.

Approximately 80 students from Southern Columbia and nine other school districts (Berwick, Bloomsburg, Danville, Line Mountain, Midd-West, Milton, Mount Carmel, Shamokin, and Shikellamy) participated in the computer fair.
