Southern Columbia Area's Wrestlers capped a remarkable season with an extraordinary showing at the PIAA 2A Individual Wrestling Championships that was highlighted by individual and team accomplishments! The Tigers came home from Hershey with a school-record, six state medals led by Gaige Garcia's Gold Medal and Kole Biscoe's Silver. Also winning medals for the Tigers were Preston Zachman (Bronze Medal, Lear Quinton (fourth), Gavin Garcia (fourth), and Cade Linn (seventh).
The Tigers contingent of nine wrestlers (Lear Quinton, Gaige Garcia, Preston Zachman, Cade Linn, Tyler Waltman, Ian Yoder, Patrick Edmondson, Gavin Garcia and Kole Biscoe)    compiled 121 points during the Championship tournament, 25.5 more than second place St. Joseph's. In amassing the most points, the Tigers staked claim to the PIAA State Wrestling Championship, the team's first state title since 1984! 
In addition to the wrestlers' accomplishments, Head Coach Jerry Marks was named PA Wrestling AA Coach of the Year! Congratulations to all on a job well done!
