All students in grades 4 through 12 will have the opportunity to sample, farm-fresh foods during today's lunch periods. The Food of the Month Day is an opportunity for students to try fresh foods, locally grown by farmers in our area. Many thanks are extended to Lakeville Produce in Washingtonville, Wolf Hollow Farm in Turbotville, and Gib's Farm in Elysburg, who will be donating these foods. Freshly-picked organic and hydroponic springtime greens, sprinkled with a cranberry nut granola, and topped with a delicious homemade vinaigrette dressing will be served today. The Food of the Month was a hit among the District's middle school and high school students. Today's program is being expanded to all Fourth Grade students too!
