The School District will be participating in a Community Emergency Response Drill being conducted by local and regional police departments and other emergency responders. The responders will be reacting to a simulated emergency situation occurring near Knoebels Amusement Park. Because of its close proximity to the school, if this were a real emergency, the school would be affected, and would need to react. The time of the event won’t be known until its occurrence, however, when it occurs, we are anticipating the need to put all schools on a lockdown alert.

During the lockdown normal classroom activities will continue, however, access to the buildings will be restricted.  If you need to enter the building for some reason while the drill is in effect, you will be asked a series of questions to ensure you are properly vetted.
