FBLA has Historic Day at Regional Competition!

Southern Columbia's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter recorded two historic "firsts" at this year's Regional Leadership Conference and also saw sixteen of its members place in various business and business-related competitions held as part of the day-long conference.

The inaugural edition of the Southern Columbia Alumni Community's newsletter, Tiger Tidings, will be going to press soon, with mailings and general distribution expected to take place mid-to-late January. The Alumni Community is putting out a "last call" for updated mailing addresses and would be especially grateful for class reunion lists.

Wrestlers Emerge from Trojan Wars "with their Shields"!

Southern Columbia's Wrestling program put on an impressive display at the Trojan Wars Wrestling Tournament in Chambersburg as they left the competitive tournament with a Junior High team championship, a second place Varsity team finish, and six individual champions! The Trojan Wars Championship was the third for a SCA Junior High team.

SCA Senior Delivers Stirring Rendition of the National Anthem

As part of each championship game, the PIAA offers a spotlight to the national anthem and a talented performer from one of the participating schools. This year the spotlight shone on Fran Forti, Class of 2017, who delivered a powerful rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.

Tigers Capture Tip-Off Tournament Title!

Congratulations are extended to the Girls Basketball Team on capturing First Place in the 2016 Central Columbia Tip-Off Tournament. The tournament helped open the Varsity Winter Sports Season on a successful note and brought the Lady Tigers their first-ever, Tip-Off title!
