Rehearsals of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang in Full Gear!

The cast and crew of Encore have been putting in long hours memorizing lines, practicing dance steps, and fine-tuning comic pratfalls in preparation of this year's musical, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The fast-moving show will debut on Friday, March 17th with a 7:00 PM performance.

District's Facilities to be Enhanced

At the February 20th, Board of Education Meeting, a variety of projects designed to improve the comfort, safety, and energy efficiency of the District's school buildings were approved. In addition, a major renovation of Tiger Stadium was authorized, opening use of the stadium to new interscholastic, extracurricular, curricular, and community groups.

Staff In-Service Focuses on School Safety

Safety was the theme of the Presidents' Day in-service program attended by all District staff. The day began with a presentation by Steve Shope, Executive Director of Project Bald Eagle, who offered an eye-opening look at the growing opioid epidemic in Pennsylvania.
