Registration and Paperwork Due for Fall Sports

Registration and paperwork for fall sports are due prior to the first day of practice.  If your child is playing a fall sport and you have not yet registered your child through FamilyID, please do so immediately.  Family ID can be accessed through the District's Athletic webpage by clicking on Sports Registration.  The required paperwork can be mailed to the Athletic Trainer, Tim Jurnak at the High School's address or if you would like to hand deliver it personally, Mr.

New Teachers Welcomed!

The Southern Columbia Area School District extends a warm welcome to the following teachers who will be joining SCA's instructional staff in 2016-2017: Katherine (Nolt) Peachey, Middle School English, Stacey Hochenbroch, Fourth Grade, and Cassandra Gum, Elementary School Emotional Support/Special Education. Summer Accolades for Student-Athletes and Coaches

Congratulations to Southern Columbia Area's student athletes and coaches on being named Black Diamond Sports Network's School of the Year. According to BDSN, the award is based on titles and wins in the Heartland Conference, District, and State competitions.

Honor Graduates Recognized

Among the students recognized at the 2016 commencement exercise were twenty-six students who earned the distinction of being named an Honor Graduate. In order to receive this honor, students must complete ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelfth grade with a 95% or higher average.

Graduation Memories

The Graduation Ceremony of the Class of 2016 gave the students a fitting send off to their next phase of life.

Pickleball Champions Crowned!

The much anticipated Pickleball Tournament once again proved to be a success, providing students with challenging games and a fun way to beat the stress of final exams and other end of the year obligations.
