Seth Barrett Wins Teen Star Competition!

Congratulations to Seth Barrett, Class of 2018, who won First Place Instrumentalist in the 6th Annual Teen Star Musical Competition sponsored by First Columbia Bank. In winning the competition, Seth received a $1,500 monetary award from the Bank. It's been a banner year for Seth.

Students Selected to Participate in State Leadership Seminar

Congratulation are extended to sophomores Eli Yemzow and Anthony Scicchitano who were selected as the School District's 2016 Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) representatives.

Online Registration for Fall Sports and Sports Physicals Now Open

Beginning with the 2016-2017, fall sports season, Southern Columbia Area will use FamilyID to streamline the PIAA sports enrollment and sports physical process. All School District forms, and the majority of PIAA forms, will be filled out online and signed electronically. The only exceptions to this are the Health History and Medical Examiners sections of the Comprehensive Initial Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation (CIPPE) form.

Relay for Life Engages All in Fight Against Cancer

Once again the SCA Relay for Life Committee did an outstanding job providing opportunities for all stakeholders, young and old, to engage in the fight to end cancer.
