Jim Roth Field Dedicated!

Surrounded by past and current members and supporters of Southern Columbia Area's football program, Coach Jim Roth was honored in a surprise postgame ceremony during which the field at Tiger Stadium was officially dedicated the Jim Roth Field. 

Color Run Draws 300 Participants!

Southern Columbia Area's inaugural Color Run was a tremendous success with several hundred supporters participating in the event's 5K and Fun Run.

Southern Columbia Area students' work will be among those featured in the Educational Exhibits Hall at the 161st Bloomsburg Fair. Pictured is an exhibit showcasing the District's Technology Education program and its students.

Volunteer Efforts Help Make Event a Success!

The 2016-2017, Fresh Food of the Month campaign got off to a successful start thanks to the efforts of Southern Columbia Area staff, students, and community members who assisted in many ways. Over 1,000 ears of corn were served to students and staff during lunch periods in G.C. Hartman Elementary, the High School, and Middle School.

Fall Sports and Band Activities in Full Swing!

Once the dismissal bell rings endling classes for the day, Southern Columbia Area's campus remains abuzz with the sounds of music and competition as nearly 400 students in grades 7 to 12 remain at school each day to participate in Fall 2016 co-curricular, extra-curricular, and interscholastic activities.

Fresh Food of the Month Returns this Wednesday

The first Fresh Food of the Month event for the new school year will take place Wednesday, September 21st during all K-12, lunches and it will feature fresh sweet corn grown on the Adams Family Farm.

Never Forget

Today we pause to remember the 2,977 people who perished in the horrific terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The victims included heroic Americans- firemen, policemen, and other first responders, as well as private citizens- who rushed into dangerous situations to aid those who were endangered by the attacks.
