Salvation Army Food Drive Underway

The students and teachers of Southern Columbia Area's Career Development Program have been coordinating the District's participation in the local Salvation Army's 2013 Food Drive. The goal of this year's drive is to provide food to 800 local families, including more than 2000 children, who reside in either Southern Columbia's communities or in Shamokin or in Mt. Carmel. The Food Drive will conclude Friday, December December 6th. Students, staff and visitors can make donations at collection sites set up in each of the District's schools.

Tue, 12/03/2013 The Board of Directors will hold their annual Reroganization Meeting at 7:00 p.m. in the District Office conference room. It will be immediately followed by a Special Board meeting for general purposes. 

The 7th Annual SCA Senior Citizen Holiday Dinner.

Thu, 12/05/2013 Senior citizens are invited to enjoy holiday music, light refreshments and dinner hosted by the faculty, staff and National Junior Honor Society members. Guests are invited to the High School Library at 4:30 PM, to enjoy holiday music sung by the Gospel Choir and light refreshments. Dinner will be served at 5:00 PM.

Salvation Army Food Drive Underway

Tue, 12/03/2013 - Fri, 12/06/2013 The 2013 Salvation Army Food Drive will come to an end on Friday, December 6th. The following food items can be dropped off at the District Office or any of SCA's schools: Instant Potatoes, Stove Top Stuffing, Cranberries, Sweet Potatoes, Gravy, Cake Mixes and Frosting, Hams, Turkeys, Chicken, and Pasta and Sauce. Monetary donations are also being accepted.
