Today is National Law Enforcement Memorial Day. Please take a moment to remember the men and women of Law Enforcement who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

National Police Week Observed

Monday, May 15, 2017 through Sunday, May 21, 2017 is being observed as National Police Week. Americans use this week to pay special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty as well as to give thanks to officers who continue to protect and serve every day.

Fresh Food of the Month to Feature BBQ Chicken

The District's Healthy Foods Initiative will be offering barbequed chicken legs and wings to all students and staff during their lunch periods.  The chicken will be cooked over an open fire pit.

Baccalaureate and Awards Ceremony this Evening

Baccalaureate, sponsored by members of the Class of 2017, will be celebrated this evening beginning at 5:30 PM in the High School Auditorium. This will be followed at 7:00 PM by the annual Senior Awards Ceremony, also to be held in the Auditorium.

Students Hone Engineering Skills

High School Technology Education students recently put their drafting and wood/metal fabrication skills to a test by designing, and then producing, "working machines." According to teacher Mr. Andrew Meyer, the students used Autodesk Inventor, a 3D modeling software, to design the machines.
