Thu, 09/07/2017

A districtwide bake sale to benefit the victims of Hurricane Harvey will be held today. If you are unable to bake, a monetary donation would greatly appreciated.  If baking, please package the items to be sold for $1.00. Please consider how devastating this event was to not only the city of Houston but to families, schools, and communities who literally lost everything. Please contact High School Secretary Mrs. Colleen Lane at clane@scasd.us if you have any questions.

MS Staff Launch T.I.G.E.R. Initiative!

Southern Columbia Area's Middle School staff was busy this summer planning for the launch of T.I.G.E.R. (Teamwork, Integrity, Greatness, Effort, and Respect), the underlying theme for behavioral expectations they have for their students. Rather than telling students what not to do, the school's T.I.G.E.R. initiative will focus on preferred behaviors. Good luck students and staff!

Video Helps Students Find T.I.G.E.R.

Many thanks are extended to our Middle School staff for their efforts in producing the T.I.G.E.R. kick off video below. Special thanks to teacher Mrs. Tammy Toczylousky for her fine performance as Tiger!
