Congrats and many thanks are extended to School Police Officer Clay Fahringer whose application to the Williams Atlantic Sunrise Community Grant program has been awarded. The District will receive $5,000 which will be used to purchase a Digital Portable Radio. The radio has dual band capabilities allowing Officer Fahringer to use it to communicate with District staff as well with emergency responders such as the 911 Center who have converted their radios to a digital frequency. The grant program is open to all communities within the areas affected by the proposed Atlantic Sunrise pipeline project.
