Southern Columbia Area Middle School is participating in School-Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS).  SWPBIS focuses on consistent student expectations across all school settings, using data to address student behavioral needs in a proactive manner and on maintaining a positive school environment.

Principal 200 Club

As part of our middle school’s effort to maintain a positive environment, students receive tiger paw tickets from staff throughout the middle school for behavior and choices consistent with our T.I.G.E.R. slogan.  Upon earning a ticket, students’ names are displayed on a Principal 200 bulletin board.  Once a row on the Principal 200 board is filled in, students comprising the winning row are rewarded with prizes or other fun activities.
