"Creativity is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration" ~Thomas Edison
As principal, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our school, G.C. Hartman Elementary. We want our school to be a safe and pleasant environment in which all students can learn. By working together parents, students and school staff can make this happen. I cannot stress too strongly the need for good communication between home and school. Joining together to support our children in the learning process is a perfect formula for a meaningful elementary school experience.
Our school is comprised of students in Kindergarten through Fourth grade. Our average class size is 23 students per classroom. A strong school has strong parental support. We are all working together for the benefit of our children. We continually ask ourselves, “What is best for kids?” Therefore, I encourage you to contact me at school throughout the year if I can help you in any way. I anticipate a high level of student achievement and welcome your parental support.
Our staff welcomes your involvement and support in the education of your child. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us. Together we will give our children the best possible school experience.
Best wishes for a great school year.
Mr. Shirvinski
