Seat Belt Check Raises Awareness

Many thanks are extended to the Locust Township Police Department, who in conjunction with the North Central Highway Safety Network, set up a seat belt survey for vehicles coming on and off Southern Columbia's campus as a kickoff to Teen Driver Safety Week.

Distinguished Alumni to Address Students

Congratuations are extended to the newest class of Distinguished Alumnus, the late Doug Leisenring Crowl, Ralpho Township High School Class of 1952, Jeff ColosimoClass of 1982, Audrey Smeltzer SchwabClass of 1998, and Josh Maciejewski, Class of 2003.

Memorial to Brian Raker to be Re-Dedicated

On Friday, October 6, 2017, shortly after the performance of the SCA Marching Band's pregame show, a re-dedication ceremony of the "Raker Memorial" will be held.

    Holiday Assistance Program Sign-Ups

    Thu, 10/19/2017 The Salvation Army is hosting a sign-up meeting today from 1:00-6:00 PM for families in need of holiday assistance. Sign-ups will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Bloomsburg, located at 345 Market Street. The program is available to low-income families living in zip code 17820. To be eligible for assistance you must bring the following information to the meeting: valid photo ID; Social Security card for each household member; proof of income for all household members; and birth certificates for children 12 years and younger.

    RSVPs for Veterans Day Assembly are Due Today

    Wed, 11/01/2017 The Southern Columbia Area High School will hold its annual Veterans Day Assembly on Friday, November 10th in the High School Auditorium.  As is tradition, any alumnus and/or resident of the Southern Columbia Area School District who is a veteran or  who currently is serving in the military, is invited to attend a luncheon of appreciation and the Veteran's Day Assembly. All guests will be recognized at the assembly. The assembly will be held at 1:15 PM, preceded by the luncheon at 12:00 noon.  The luncheon will be hosted in the lobby of the Charles T.

    Future Careers Expo
