Track Athletes Advance to State Meet

Southern Columbia's Track and Field teams made impressive showings at the District 4 Meet in Williamsport with the Boys team finishing third out of twenty teams and the Girls tenth in a field of twenty-four.

Students Explore Nature's Classroom

Southern Columbia’s First Grade students traveled to the District’s Nature Trail to engage in a variety of lessons which taught them basic concepts of ecology while gaining an appreciation of the flora and fauna of the area.

Book Fair Gets "Dino-mite" Results!

In an effort to ensure every student went home with at least one book, G.C. Hartman’s BOGO "Dino-mite" Scholastic Book Fair featured a coin challenge to support this cause.

    SOCO Kids Coding Camp

    Mon, 05/20/2019 Registration for the SOCO Kids Coding Camp will begin today. The summer camp is open to rising 2nd through 6th grade students and will be held July 9-11 and July 16-18. Our coders will have an opportunity to build codes and create animations and games as well as program different kinds of robots and drones.     SPRING KEYSTONE EXAMS - LITERATURE

    Mon, 05/20/2019 - Tue, 05/21/2019 The Spring Keystone LITERATURE Exam will take place on May 20th & 21ST. The administration is for students who did not achieve a proficient level or higher in their previous Literature tests. The Keystone Exams are end-of-course assessments required by the Pennsylvania Department of Education designed to assess proficiency in the subject areas of Algebra 1, Literature and Biology.
