SCA Clubs and Activities
Southern Columbia Area High School students have the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of activities. Activities meet during the weekly Activity Period, prior to school, and/or after school.
FBLA – Future Business Leaders of America
PRIDE – Tolerance/Diversity club
Encore – Musical production
Ski Club – ski trips for students during the winter season
Honor Society – Academic association
Dramatics Club – Play production
Student Council – Student leadership organization
Science Club – Science organization including Envirothon competition
Varsity Club – Athletic leadership organization
Tiger News – Production of the school’s daily news broadcast
Model UN – World issue competition
Forensics Club – Debate competition club
Yearbook – responsible for publishing the annual yearbook
Library Club- organization to promote reading and increase library programming
Empty Bowl Club – student sponsored charity soup luncheon and art auction
Scholastic Competition Club – compete in local scholastic competitions
Art Club – provides creative opportunities and promotes the Visual Arts at SCA
Jazz Band – a small instrumental ensemble learning how to play in the style of Jazz
Spanish Club – promotes the Spanish language and culture
