First responders visited G.C. Hartman Elementary School on Wednesday to educate students about fire prevention and safety. The visit was an engaging experience, as firefighters, EMS, and police officers demonstrated essential safety procedures and explained the importance of being prepared in case of a fire emergency. They showed the students how to stop, drop, and roll, as well as the proper way to exit a building safely. The highlight of the visit was when the students got a chance to see a fire truck up close and learn about the equipment used in firefighting. The event was both educational and exciting, helping students understand the critical role of first responders in their community.
