Alasia Gaines and Hailey Gallup were selected as WVIA Artists of the Week for the spring filming session. Yesterday, they were professionally filmed at the WVIA studio in Pittston, where they participated in interviews and showcased five pieces of their original artwork. Their work will be featured in the final videos, which are expected to be released on WVIA’s website sometime in June. Stay tuned!
Alasia’s collection features visual art pieces completed in class. Hailey’s work includes pieces she created for SCA’s recent musical production, Sister Act, which is why the Virgin Mary appears in the group photo.
