"I am proud to select Joey Serafini as the September SoCo Star in Science. Joey comes to class each day with a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn new things. He is kind to everyone, has the manners of a true gentleman, and treats his teachers with respect. Joey completes his work on time and with quality, and he asks questions when there is something he doesn't understand. Most importantly, although he is often a man of few words, Joey is quick to smile and has a great sense of humor, always knowing just the right moment to deliver a great joke. For all of these reasons, Joey's presence adds a lot to what makes our 4th-period Science class awesome. Congratulations, Joey!"
