Over the weekend, our girls soccer program hosted the Frank Fullmer Memorial Junior High Girls Soccer Tournament. The tournament began in 2015 to honor legendary coach Frank Fullmer, who founded the girls soccer program here at Southern Columbia.
After winning the championship in the tournament’s first two years, our program experienced a drought, with Central Columbia largely dominating in recent seasons. This past weekend, however, our girls played with tremendous passion and heart to reclaim the championship, defeating Central Columbia 1–0 in the finals.
In addition, the team put together an outstanding season, finishing with a record of 12-1-4.
