Team Spotlight: The 2025 Sideline Cheer team! The team has 14 members and is coached by Kenda Roth. The captains are Senior, Kaila Cuff and Junior, Kylah Heath. The girls play a major role in keeping the crowd excited during the Friday night football games and look forward to seeing the fans there. Captain Kaila Cuff says, "Nothing compares to the feeling of Friday night games at Southern Columbia."

Miss Yoder’s Agricultural Science 1 class is working on restoring the courtyard outside of her classroom. The classes have gone out twice, picking up sticks and rocks, raking grass clippings, and cleaning out the shed. The class plans to continue to work in the courtyard to landscape under the windows and add a walking path. In the spring, they would like to use the greenhouse and have a plant sale!
