Hello Miss Sharrow's First Grade Families! I just sent an email to your student's email address. This is how you will sign up for conferences. It must be through the student's email address, as it will not work with any other email addresses. Your child's email information is the same as their computer login. If you have any questions, please let me know! Thank you! -Miss Sharrow

Second Graders had a great time making full-sized sunflowers in Mrs. Brown's Art class. Students are pictured in the art room proudly displaying their painting skills. Students also practiced their fine motor skills by cutting out their masterpieces very carefully and then practiced knot-making, using raffia, to embellish the stem. Students focused on the elements of line, shape, pattern, and color. Blending their paint was encouraged. All Second Grade classes will have their flowers displayed in the hallway outside of the large group area in the elementary school during the fall season. Third Grader Adalyn Dickey is SCA's Citizen of the Month. She is an all-around wonderful student. She is a hard worker, a great leader, and a sincere friend. Adalyn tries hard to do her best, and she excels in all academic areas. She has an amazing personality, and she brings out the best in her classmates. She is a role model to them, and they look up to her. Adalyn is a kind, considerate, and thoughtful girl who consistently puts the feelings of others first. Adalyn volunteers to help other students with schoolwork or with feeling successful and good about themselves. Adalyn is a well-rounded young girl both in school and outside of school. She gives 110% to her academics and she does it all with a smile. We are very fortunate and proud to have Adalyn in our district.
