Students in Mrs. Ziegert’s classroom earned a class reward last week. The students were joined by a guest reader and her pet lizard. Additionally, students have been participating in STEM stations. One of the tasks included building a flying machine that would fly on a zipline. The students' creativity was “sky high.”

School spirit has been running high in the days leading up to Homecoming. Whether it be Country/Country Club Day in the Middle and High School, or Honky Tonk Tuesday or Wacky Wednesday in the Elementary, we've enjoyed seeing the wild and crazy outfits throughout the week. Tomorrow is Flip Flop Day for Middle and High School (students dress as teachers and teachers dress as students) and Fall Sports Friday (wear your black and gold) in the Elementary.

Last week, First Grade took advantage of the beautiful weather and practiced addition on the sidewalk. Additionally, Olivia Meyer chose "Storyteller" as her monthly SWIPBIS reward and read to her First Grade class. The week ended with Hat Day in Mrs. Hower's Third Grade classroom. We can't wait to see what the district has in store for Homecoming Spirit Week this week!
