These staff members were presented thank you notes from high school Peer Leaders and a small sign to hang on their classroom doors for being their "Trusted Adult." Being a trusted adult means you are someone who students view as a reliable and caring source of support. What’s more, they listen and respond appropriately to expressed concerns, warning signs, and threats of someone who may be at risk of harming themselves or others. This Peer Leadership project is one of our high school S.A.V.E. initiatives.
